Doing it all yourself has less out-of-pocket expense but may actually cost you more in the long run. In order to be successful with your email marketing there is a lot to learn. First there is the technical part of actually getting the campaign set up – the optin form, the initial emails, the success page, the failure page, and more. Then there is the marketing part – creating offers that actually get people to sign up for your lists; writing subject lines and emails that get people to take action; writing all the follow up emails and broadcast emails, etc.
